Audubon State Park

 

We had the most wonderful spring break trip.  We visited John James Audubon State Park in Kentucky with Grandmother and Pa.  We hiked in the woods, visited the museum and learning center, and explored areas with great bird watching opportunities.  We also stayed in a cabin in the park!

Pumpkin Patch

This post is a long time coming, but why not play catch up.

We went to the local pumpkin patch with some of our friends.

We learned about pollination.

We met a three horned goat. 

Weird.

And we played Spider-Man.

It was a good day.

This is Humphrey.  He is Henry's sweet lovey.  He is a member of our family.  He is threadbare.

He stinks.

 

I can count on one hand the times Henry has requested that Humphrey get a bath.

Today was one of those days.

 

We love you Humphrey... and we are glad you no longer stink!

School

 

We started school here at Thompson Road Academy a few weeks ago.

 

We are all excited to be in entering kindergarten!

This sweet boy is 5 years old today!  Where did the years go?

Today is also the 5th birthday of Henry's new friend Woodensley.

Woodensley (the picture he's holding) lives in Haiti and shares the same birthday!

 

Henry is so excited to have his very own friend to exchange letters and pictures.
