Our Cardinal Family

 This is was a big day in our house.  We spotted our first juvenile cardinal!

Please excuse the photo quality.  These were taken through our grimey bird watching window.

Lots of sweet handprints and such. :)

Here's dad!

We had read in a book that male and female cardinals will continue to feed their young after they can fly and leave the nest.  And here it is!!!!

We could barely contain ourselves!

A few weeks ago while eating breakfast, we mentioned to Poopah that we might like a roof for the clubhouse.

Next thing we know, Poopah is outside measuring and making plans.

Assisting is very tiring work.

And, as always, little brother watched from his stroller. 

Making Bird Feeders

The boys were very excited about this project.  They collected the pine cones from Grandmother and Poopah's yard.    

We hung our finished bird feeders around our yard and took a few to Nana and PawPaw for their yard.

Audie was a trooper watching from his stroller.
